ONE HOUSE FILMMAKERS FUND POWERED BY EAST WEST BANK FOUNDATION
We drive narrative change by investing strategic capital, resources, community, and amplification into the next generation of leading creators and their companies. The One House Filmmakers Fund is Sundance’s first multicultural film fund, powered by the East West Bank Foundation, providing Sundance’s industry-leading financing, training and mentorship, and amplification to the most promising multicultural filmmakers.
Our Approach
Alongside Gold House, the Sundance Institute, and the East West Bank Foundation, the One House Filmmakers Fund’s selections are made in collaboration with LatinX House, GLAAD, the NAACP Hollywood Bureau, and RespectAbility, whose executives served on the selection committee. The annual cohort of ten filmmakers receive unrestricted funding, collaborative mentorship with established filmmakers and industry executives, skills training, business-building support, and amplification through interactive programming hosted by Gold House and its partners.
Why It Matters
Historically underrepresented in the entertainment industry, multicultural filmmakers continue to face barriers to raising financing for projects.
