Your Role
As the Cultural Consulting Associate, you will be responsible for supporting and executing initiatives related to Gold House’s cultural consultation work, working alongside the top studios and creatives in the world. Specifically, you will work under the Cultural Consulting Lead and within the broader Stories team to execute consulting deliverables, manage thought leadership such as Gold Storybook, and participate strategically in any other aspects of Gold House’s Stories initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses a development executive’s eye for reviewing content and a strategy/management consultant’s knack for solving problems and communicating feedback.
Responsibilities
- Review assets related to film, television, advertising creative, video games, and more to provide strategic, cultural feedback in service of cultural authenticity and narrative change
- Manage administrative aspects of the cultural consulting workstream, including the tracking of requests, deliverables, invoices, revenue, and impact
- Contribute to thought leadership with regards to cultural consulting, representation in stories, and broader narrative change
- Assist Gold House leadership in strategic initiatives around key creative projects based on reviews and analyses
Requirements
- You have 2+ years of experience in a consulting and/or research role (experience in film/television, advertising, or gaming preferred, but not required).
- You are composed even when operating under pressure, and you are enthusiastic about managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, rapid-evolving environment.
- You are highly analytical, adaptive and pragmatic, noticing every detail and considering every nuance as you reason through a wide array of requests to arrive at actionable, explainable, and results-oriented recommendations.
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator who is energized by bringing people together to execute efficiently and effectively.
- You have a “no job is too small” attitude and are excited to roll up your sleeves and solve all types of problems.
- And last but not least, you are passionate about Gold House’s purpose and share our mission of uplifting the Asian Pacific community.
