Theresa Kang-Lowe is the founder and CEO of Blue Marble Pictures and Blue Marble Management. Kang-Lowe is the first Asian American woman to launch a management and production company with an exclusive producing deal. Blue Marble Pictures has an exclusive multi-year producing deal with AppleTV+ for film and television and is executive producing new series PACHINKO and THE WHITE DARKNESS. Blue Marble Management represents artists such as Oscar®-winning filmmaker Alfonso Cuaron, Oscar®-winner Simon Beaufoy, Emmy®-winner Lena Waithe, Golden Globe®-nominee and best-selling author Gillian Flynn, Broadway playwright and Emmy®-nominated screenwriter Jason Kim, amongst other notables. Kang-Lowe is passionate about amplifying original voices who use the power of storytelling to craft transformative experiences about the human condition.

 

Kang-Lowe most recently was an Agent and Partner at William Morris Endeavor for fourteen years where she represented television and film clients, including an array of producers, writers, directors, and actors. She has negotiated revenue in excess of half a billion dollars on behalf of her clients. She was the first Asian American to be promoted to Partner at WME. Additionally, she co-founded Empower, a company-wide program promoting inclusion and mentorship. She also had the honor of being on The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Power 100 and was appointed to Los Angeles Mayor Garcetti’s Entrepreneurs in Residence for the Evolve Entertainment Fund focused on increasing diversity initiatives in the entertainment industry.
