Smriti brings over 12 years of experience advising and investing in leading technology and consumer businesses to her role as Founding Principal at Evolv Ventures. Evolv is an early stage fund backed by KraftHeinz to invest in emerging Food Tech,Supply Chain Tech and New Consumer products and channels.

Prior to joining Evolv, Smriti was a Vice President with Guild Capital, an early stage venture firm investing in consumer internet businesses across Chicago, Los Angeles and New York. While at Guild, Smriti helped drive Seed investments and early growth initiatives in companies including Ruggable, Petal Card, LA Collective, and Voyage Mobile.

Prior to Guild, Smriti spent several years in management consulting at Bain & Company in San Francisco, Mumbai, New York and Chicago. At Bain, she focused her time on technology and consumer investments with the Private Equity Group and Fortune 500 transformation strategy projects within the Tech, Media & Telecom Group.

Smriti holds a BA and BS with Honors from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She resides in Chicago with her husband and son.”
