Nyjah Huston (29) has been pushing the boundaries of what is possible on a skateboard for over 20 years. The Nike SB athlete is the most-decorated professional skateboarder of all-time with a collection of titles and trophies that rival sport legends across all disciplines. Throughout his illustrious career, the six-time world champion and 13-time X Games gold medalist has swiftly progressed the sport of professional street skating since becoming the youngest-ever X Games competitor at age 11. From a young age, Nyjah exhibited an innate talent for skateboarding, setting the stage for a career that would reshape the landscape of street skateboarding. His unique style, technical prowess, and consistency on the board have solidified his reputation as one of the greatest street skateboarders of his generation. As a 2021 TIME100 Next honoree, Nyjah led Team USA’s Olympic street skateboarding team to the global stage at the Tokyo Games in 2021, for the sport’s inaugural showing at the Olympics. Beyond the competitive arena, Nyjah has become a cultural icon, influencing the direction of contemporary skateboarding.
