Julia Gouw is Chairwoman of Piermont Bank, a digital commercial bank in New York providing banking services for the fintech companies. She was former President and Chief Operating Officer of East West Bank. She was ranked one of the “25 Most Powerful Women in Banking” by American Banker magazine and received Los Angeles Business Journal’s “Women Making a Difference” award. Julia Gouw has been a supporter of Gold House, and has provided opportunities to build a female founder-focused track within Gold Rush’s programming that provides tailored support and mentorship to top women AAPI entrepreneurs. She currently serves on the boards of Pacific Life, Vizio Holding Corp and Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Born and raised in Indonesia, Julia Gouw earned her B.S. degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
