Born in Nuku’alofa, Tonga, and currently residing in New York City with his partner and their dog, Grant is a mentor at heart. He is dedicated to nurturing and empowering individuals to embrace their unique strengths and voices, embodying the philosophy of “being the person we all needed when we started out.”

He is a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion, working to elevate the visibility and advancement of the AAPI and LGBTQUIA+ communities. His involvement with organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Gold House, and the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center, especially through initiatives like Aids Lifecycle, underscores his commitment to meaningful community impact.

Grant believes in using brands and their reach, imagination, and fortitude to build better futures for the communities and cultures they touch.

A100 is particularly meaningful as he dedicates it to his late grandmother, Colleen Cowley, and late uncle, Alfred Cowley, whose enduring influence, and community impact continue to inspire generations of Tongans around the world.
