Chris Anderson

Curator, TED Conferences

As the curator of TED Conferences, I have the privilege of running a nonprofit that shares ‘ideas worth spreading’ in the form of short, carefully-prepared TED Talks. For over 20 years, I have been working with some of the most brilliant and influential speakers in the world, from scientists and artists to activists and entrepreneurs, to help them craft and deliver their messages to millions of viewers online and in person.

My core competencies include writing, public relations, and event planning, which I use to create and promote engaging and inspiring TED events, programs, and platforms. My mission is to nurture a renaissance in public speaking based on the belief that we all have knowledge to share, and that we can do so in a way that others will want to listen. I also wrote a book on how to master the art of public speaking, which I hope will empower more people to find and express their voice. If you have a TED Talk proposal, please write to speakers@ted.com. I would love to hear from you.
