The first Asian American writer and editor at a national magazine (Rolling Stone, 1969), Ben was portrayed in the film ‘Almost Famous’ and is the subject of a new documentary, ‘Like a Rolling Stone: The Life and Times of Ben Fong-Torres. He is also a radio DJ and won 5 Emmy awards as co-anchor of the Chinese New Year Parade broadcasts on KTVU. He and wife Dianne live in San Francisco, where he programs and DJs on MoonaliceRadio.com.
