All-Time Most Decorated American Winter Olympian

Apolo Anton Ohno, an American short-track speed skater, is the most-decorated American athlete in the history of the Winter Olympics. In three Winter Games (2002, 2006, and 2010) he accumulated a total of eight medals—two gold, two silver, and four bronze. Apolo has also made headlines off the ice, winning “Dancing with the Stars” with Julianne Hough in 2007 and serving as a commentator for NBC’s covereage of the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympic Games.
