Alex Norström’s first job was working in his mother’s Chinese restaurant, in Stockholm, Sweden. After university and a stint as an analyst at JP Morgan in London, he went on to found three start-ups. Learning from their successes and failures, he then helped scale social games at King.com, and joined Spotify in 2011 as VP Growth. Today, Alex is Co-CEO of Spotify, the world’s most popular audio-subscription service. Operating in 184 markets, Spotify users can discover and enjoy over 100 million tracks, nearly 7 million podcast titles and 350,000 audiobooks, including the Gold Beats playlist in collaboration with Gold House.
