Duties

  • Oversee the development, production, and execution of all Gold House events, including Gold Gala (largest celebration of Asian cultural leaders), Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, Tribeca Festival, AdWeek Banquet, Diwali Celebration, Gold Open Screenings, Industry Mixers, and Salons 
  • Directly manage Gold House events team, volunteers, and external events vendors, including venue, travel, food and beverage, AV, photography, and physical builds
  • Individually project manage marquee Gold House events (e.g. Gold Gala) including project management, task delegation, executing run of show production, etc.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to execute on sponsorship and new revenue opportunities
  • Support and liaise with Gold House’s internal programmatic and functional teams (e.g., Entertainment and Media, Futures, A100, Membership, Marketing), as well as relevant external programmatic partners (e.g., Studios, Corporations, Talent, Entrepreneurs), to ensure successful events execution

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in event production preferred, including: extremely organized and detail-oriented work style; ability to manage VIP interactions, guest check-ins, budgets, and invoices with support from finance and programmatic teams; and leadership that inspires internal teams and instills confidence in external partners
