Singer and songwriter H.E.R. has been performing and writing music since she was a young child. She started with singing covers on various talk shows like the Today Show and Good Morning America. At just the age of 12, an original song of her’s was featured on Radio Disney, which led to her first record deal with RCA Records.

In late 2016, H.E.R. released her debut EP and immediately received the respect of artists generations before her. Her sultry voice paired with her artful lyrics have made her one of this generation’s most notable and valued R&B artists.

Just this past year, H.E.R. has added two Grammy awards to her belt. Her song about racial injustice entitled, “I Can’t Breathe,” was awarded Song of the Year. H.E.R. is halfway to achieving an EGOT, as she was most recently awarded an Oscar for Best Original Song for “Fight for You,” — a track inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement written for the film, “Judas and the Black Messiah.”
