Lisha Li is the founder and CEO of Rosebud AI. She was previously a principal at Amplify Partners leading investments in early stage startups, and worked in data science at Pinterest and Stitch Fix. Lisha holds a PhD in Machine Learning from UC Berkeley.

What inspired you/your team to create this company?
Rosebud was founded by Berkeley PhD CEO and a team of AI experts to disrupt media creation. We believe image and video creation will be done via generative methods in 5 years because it will be easier and more intuitive to use. It will enable visual storytelling at the speed of thought, a decentralized Hollywood on your laptop. We’re building that future.

What distinguishes your company and product in the market?
Our product TokkingHeads allows existing or virtual characters to be animated with real human voice or text. Our tech is not only cutting edge AI research but we are uniquely applying it to scale up content production (eg. growing tiktok channels) in a way that can personalize to the individual user.
