One of the most prominent names in horror, filmmaker James Wan is best known as the creator of the “Saw,” “Insidious,” and “Conjuring” franchises, which together have grossed over $2.5 billion worldwide. Recently, Wan has branched out to direct other blockbuster fare, including DC Films’ “Aquaman” (which grossed over $1.14 billion and became the highest-grossing DCEU film and highest-grossing film based on a DC Comics character) and the seventh installment of “The Fast and the Furious” (the franchise’s most successful entry both critically and commercially).
