Annie Lee

CFO, Interscope Geffen A&M

Native Southern Californian, Annie graduated from UCLA in 2002 with a degree in Economics. Annie went on to work at Disney in consumer products before joining the UMG North America
Finance team for one year until she eventually became a vital and main component to the Interscope team.

When she was promoted to the position of CFO of the company in 2019, Chairman John Janick called her “an important part of the future of Interscope Geffen A&M.”

Lee’s duties at IGA encompass much more than a traditional finance role. As CFO, Lee oversees finance, special projects, A&R Administration and manages the teams that operate the company’s inhouse recording studio and touring department. Together with the senior management team, she helps set the company’s priorities, planning for the future and troubleshooting issues that arise. In addition to collaborating with these senior executives on decision making, Lee is tasked with implementing their decisions within the company. She has
been hyper-focused on streamlining the business and instituting processes that enable the Interscope team of more than 230 employees to become more efficient and nimble and empower them to make better marketing and creative decisions.
