The Gold List (Film)
The Gold List for Film honors the most outstanding Asian Pacific achievements in the film industry each year. It was created to accelerate the fair inclusion of Asian Pacific creatives and projects in mainstream media and during the crucial awards season. Since its inception three years ago, 27 Gold List honorees have gone on to receive Academy Award wins or nominations, including last year’s historic wins for Everything Everywhere All At Once, Michelle Yeoh, Ke Huy Quan, “Naatu Naatu”, and The Elephant Whisperer.

Qualifications & Selection Process
Actors, directors, screenwriters, and songwriters are independently eligible for the Gold List if they are of Asian descent. Feature-length films and short films are eligible for Gold list consideration if they are led on-screen by at least one authentically portrayed Asian lead.
The Gold List is voted on by the Gold Open Advisory Council, Gold House Members (comprised of the nation’s leading API creatives, executives, founders, and nonprofit heads), CAPE Board Members and Advisors, as well as other entertainment leaders.
