Jon M. Chu is known for his visually stunning blockbuster films, including In the Heights and Crazy Rich Asians, which was nominated for numerous awards, including two Golden Globe Awards, one for Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy; a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble; a PGA Award for Outstanding Producer of Theatrical Motion Pictures; and four Critics Choice Awards, winning one for Best Comedy. Born the youngest of five children in Los Altos, California, Chu continues to use the influences of his childhood (family, technology, food, music, and movement) to tell personal stories in a variety of mediums that connect with audiences from around the world.

Payal Kapadia is a Mumbai based filmmaker. She studied Film Direction at the Film & Television Institute of India. Her short films Afternoon Clouds and And What Is The Summer Saying premiered respectively at the Cinéfondation and the Berlinale. Her first feature film A Night of Knowing Nothing premiered at 2021 Director’s Fortnight, where it won the Golden Eye for best documentary. Her second feature All We Imagine as Light premiered in Cannes 2024 in Official Competition, where it won the Grand Prix.

Sean Wang is a filmmaker from Fremont, CA. His latest short film, NǍI NAI & WÀI PÓ, premiered at SXSW 2023 where it won the Grand Jury Prize & Audience Award. Since then, it received Grand Jury Awards at AFI Fest and SIFF 2023 and was nominated for Best Documentary Short Film for the 96th Academy Awards. His debut feature film, DÌDI (弟弟), had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival where it won the U.S. Dramatic Audience Award and Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble Cast.

Dev Patel is a British actor and filmmaker. He has received various accolades, including a British Academy Film Award and nominations for an Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. Patel was included in Time’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2024.

Awkwafina is an American actress who is known for starring in Crazy Rich Asians (2018) and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (2021). For her leading role in the comedy-drama The Farewell (2019), she earned a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. Since then, she has co-created, written, and produced Comedy Central’s Awkwafina is Nora from Queens (2020) and has received an Emmy Award for starring and producing in the TV movie Quiz Lady (2023).

Billkin is a Thai actor and singer who most recently starred in How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024) alongside Usha Seamkhum. His previous acting credits include I Told Sunset About You (2020) and I Promised You the Moon (2021). In 2019, he rose to popularity in the Thai romantic series My Ambulance where he is credited for his supporting role as Doctor Tao as well as the singer performing the official soundtrack for the series.

Izaac Wang is an American actor, recognized for his roles in the movies Good Boys (2019) and Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). His film career began with the television series Teachers, followed by his first movie role as Soren in the Universal Pictures comedy Good Boys. In addtion to these roles, he has also portrayed characters in Paramount Pictures film Clifford the Big Red Dog, Lionsgate film Think Like a Dog, and HBO Max series Gremlins.

Kani Kusruti is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her versatile performances in independent and regional cinema. She has earned critical recognition for her work in the film Biriyaani (2019) which won her the Best Actress awards at the the Moscow International Film Festival and the Kerala State Film Awards. Most recently she starred in Shuchi Talati’s coming-of-age film, Girls Will Be Girls (2024) alongside Preeti Panigrahi and Kesav Binoy Kiron.

Naomi Scott is a British actress and singer who gained prominence with her roles in Disney’s Lemonade Mouth (2011) and Aladdin (2019). Showcasing her talent in music and acting, she most recently delivered a compelling and acclaimed performance in the psychological horror film Smile 2 (2024) where she played Skye Riley, a pop star facing trauma and a malevolent force.

Joan Chen is one of the most widely recognized and respected Asian stars in the international film industry. She began her movie career at the age of 14 in Shanghai. Her performance in the films YOUTH, 1977 and LITTLE FLOWER, catapulted her to fame in China. Chen garnered the Best Actress Award in China in 1980 when she was 19 for LITTLE FLOWER.

Chen has appeared in more than 50 US and international film and television roles. Chen’s recent television series credits include starring opposite Clive Owen, Emma Corrin, and Brit Marling in the FX Limited Series, MURDER AT THE END OF THE WORLD written, produced and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij (The OA). Prior, Chen starred in the the Netflix original series MARCO POLO opposite Benedict Wong.

Bowen Yang is a comedian, writer, and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. Yang is a multi Emmy-nominated cast member on Saturday Night Live (NBC), where he wrote for one season before moving on-screen. He can also be seen in Awkwafina is Nora From Queens (Comedy Central), The Lost City (Paramount), Fire Island (Searchlight Pictures), and Dicks: The Musical (A24). He voiced ‘Sidney’ in The Tiger’s Apprentice (Paramount) and ‘Nolan’ in The Garfield Movie (Sony Pictures Releasing).

Divya Prabha is an Indian actress, known for her roles in Declaration (2022) and Thamaasha (2019). In 2024, Prabha delivered a compelling performance in Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine as Light, portraying Anu, a young woman navigating personal and societal challenges in Mumbai and her performance contributed to the film’s critical success, including winning the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival.

Dolly De Leon is a veteran stage and screen actress from the Philippines. She received her long-overdue international breakout role in Ruben Östlund’s 2022 critically acclaimed feature TRIANGLE OF SADNESS, which won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival and was released in theaters by Neon. De Leon was awarded the Best Supporting Actor prize by the LA Film Critics Association and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress and the BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role—the first Filipino to be nominated in an acting category at either association.

More recently, De Leon starred in the Filipino box office sensation A VERY GOOD GIRL co-starring Kathryn Bernardo, the drama KEYS TO THE HEART in which she plays the mother of an autistic piano virtuoso, and THE MISSING, the first feature-length animated film to play at the Cinemalaya festival. THE MISSING won Best Film at the festival and Dolly was awarded Best Supporting Actress and a special NETPAC award for her performance. It was selected as the official Oscar entry for the Philippines this year.

Hong Chau received critical acclaim for her role in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale opposite Brendan Fraser, for which she earned Academy®, SAG, and BAFTA Award nominations, among many other critics group recognitions. She received rave reviews for her performances in The Menu (Searchlight) and Showing Up, and also starred in the hit series “The Night Agent” and Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. Recently, she was seen in The Instigators (Apple TV) alongside Matt Damon and Casey Affleck.

Her breakout role in the film Downsizing (2017, dir. Michelle Yeoh is an internationally recognized Malaysian-born actress who rose to fame in 1990s Hong Kong action films before going on to shatter convention and star in a myriad of globally acclaimed blockbusters.

Having appeared in more than 70 features and television series, the former Bond girl’s filmography is a collection of iconic roles, from Ang Lee’s CROUCHING TIGER HIDDEN DRAGON 1 & 2 and Rob Marshall’s MEMOIRS OF A GEISHA, to Roger Spottiswoode’s TOMORROW NEVER DIES, Danny Boyle’s SUNSHINE, and Jon Chu’s romantic comedy, CRAZY RICH ASIANS, the highest-grossing romantic comedy in the U.S. of the past 10 years.
