Angelo Chan is a Managing Director at BlockFi, a cryptocurrency financial services company. In his role, Angelo specializes in the structuring and execution of complex financing transactions and moving BlockFi’s most strategic initiatives forward within the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Prior to joining BlockFi, Angelo worked at Merrill Lynch and Barclays in London and New York, where he developed extensive experience in building new financial products across established and emerging markets. Angelo also co-founded a technology-driven, specialist lender for responsibly sourced diamonds.

In his spare time, Angelo is a venture investor in fintech/cryptocurrency, healthcare, space exploration and climate data technologies. He is also an expert witness with a passion for solving sophisticated, cross-border financial crimes. He is an avid supporter of DEAI (Diversity, Equity, Accessibility and Inclusion) initiatives at the Solomon R Guggenheim Museum, where he serves as a member of the Museum’s Collections Council as well as co-chair of its Asian Art Circle. From time to time, he moonlights as a charity auctioneer.

Angelo obtained his MA and MSci from Cambridge University, England, where he graduated as the top Theoretical Chemist with first class honors. He was born in Hong Kong and is fluent in Cantonese.

Dennis Lim is the Director of Programming of the New York Film Festival and Film at Lincoln Center. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, Artforum, and The Village Voice, where he was the film editor. In 2018 he received the Chevalier of the Arts and Letters from the French Ministry of Culture. He has taught at Harvard and NYU and served as an advisor and juror for numerous film festivals. He is also the author of a 2015 critical biography of David Lynch, The Man from Another Place (which has been translated into Spanish, Chinese, and Russian) and a forthcoming monograph on the Korean filmmaker Hong Sangsoo.

Gemma Chan is best known for her roles in BAFTA-nominated Channel 4/AMC artificial intelligence drama HUMANS; Warner Bros’ film adaptation of Kevin Kwan’s best-selling novel, CRAZY RICH ASIANS, which won Best Comedy at the Critics Choice Awards and was also nominated for a Golden Globe and SAG Award; and Marvel Studios’ first female-fronted superhero film, CAPTAIN MARVEL. In 2019, Gemma returned to British television in I AM HANNAH, a deeply moving story that explored the societal pressure women face to have children. Her performance garnered rave reviews across the board. Last year Gemma starred opposite Meryl Streep in LET THEM ALL TALK, an original comedy directed by Steven Soderbergh.

Gemma can currently be heard as the voice of Namaari in Disney’s latest animation, RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON. Later this year, Gemma will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe leading an ensemble cast in ETERNALS. The film will be released worldwide on 5th November 2021. Gemma recently completed filming Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller, DON’T WORRY DARLING. Gemma is also an accomplished theatre actress, she performed in the sell-out run of the critically acclaimed YELLOW FACE, by Tony Award-winning David Henry Hwang at the Park Theatre and again in the National Theatre’s revival. In 2015, she starred in Harold Pinter’s THE HOMECOMING at Trafalgar Studios. Gemma is a Unicef UK Ambassador and an International Spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris.

Padma Lakshmi is an Emmy-nominated food expert, television producer, host, and The New York Times best-selling author. She is the creator of the critically acclaimed Hulu series Taste the Nation, nominated for a 2021 Gotham Award for Breakthrough Series, which has just been greenlit for a second season. Lakshmi serves as host and executive producer of Bravo’s two-time Emmy-winning series Top Chef, which has been nominated for 32 Emmys, including her two-time nomination for Outstanding Host for A Reality-Competition Program. Its new season will be premiering in spring 2021.

Lakshmi is co-founder of the Endometriosis Foundation of America (EFA) and an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Artist Ambassador for immigrant rights and women’s rights. Lakshmi was also appointed a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). She established herself as a food expert early in her career, hosting two successful cooking shows: Padma’s Passport, and Planet Food and writing the best-selling Easy Exotic, which won the “Best First Book” award at the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards. Lakshmi followed this with the publication of her second cookbook, Tangy, Tart, Hot & Sweet, and her memoir The New York Times best-selling Love, Loss and What We Ate. She later published The Encyclopedia of Spices & Herbs. In August of 2021, she will publish her first children’s book Tomatoes for Neela. Additionally, Lakshmi is a visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). She has received the 2018 Karma Award from Variety, as well as the 2016 NECO Ellis Island Medal of Honor.

Phillip Lim was born in Thailand in 1973 to Chinese immigrants who later fled to Southern California to escape Cambodia’s civil war, where his mother found work as a seamstress and his father became a professional poker player. While his mother clearly had an early influence on his ethos, Lim didn’t fantasize of being a designer. Instead he studied finance for three years at California State University of Long Beach, but soon found himself switching to a degree in home economics.

Phillip Lim debuted his eponymous brand, 3.1 Phillip Lim, in the fall of 2005, with business partner and friend, Wen Zhou, bucking the ostentatious runway trends of the time. His line of youthfully elegant wardrobe classics with a twist, was an instant sensation and adored by critics, fashion editors and customers alike. Widespread recognition of Lim’s talent and accolades quickly followed, including the 2006 Fashion Group International Women’s Designer ‘Rising Star’ Award, the 2007 CFDA Swarovski Award in Womenswear, the 2012 CFDA Swarovski Award in Menswear, and the 2013 CFDA Award for Accessories Designer of the Year.

Prabal Gurung launched his eponymous collection in February 2009 with a philosophy encompassing modern luxury, indelible style and an astute sense of glamour.

Gurung was born in Singapore and raised in Kathmandu, Nepal. After beginning his design career in New Delhi, he moved to New York to finish his studies at Parsons The New School for Design. Upon graduating, Gurung spent two years with Cynthia Rowley’s design and production teams. Soon after, he was appointed design director at the iconic Bill Blass, a post he held for five years until launching his own collection, PRABAL GURUNG.

A focus on quality and innovation has placed Gurung at the forefront of American fashion with designs worn by leading ladies including First Lady Michelle Obama and The Duchess of Cambridge, to name a few.
