Andrea’s leadership has been pivotal in shaping integrated marketing strategies that strengthen guest affinity for Panda Express’ comforting cuisine, quick and high-quality service, and culturally authentic storytelling. By blending the brand’s rich heritage with modern influences, Andrea guides the evolution of American Chinese comfort food and a dynamic, guest-centered dining experience. She fosters a consistent commitment to quality — from ingredient integrity to operational excellence — helping to build enduring brand trust. Beyond brand development, she leads impactful communications and fosters meaningful community engagement, reinforcing Panda’s core values and its role as a responsible corporate citizen dedicated to its people, guests, and communities.
With a lifelong connection to the company, Andrea brings a deep sense of stewardship to her role. She previously established Panda’s Digital Business team, where she developed the company’s digital marketing strategy, social media, and e-commerce platforms. Her professional background includes positions as vice president at a Silicon Valley marketing consulting firm and as an attorney at Morrison & Foerster. She has also worked in the nonprofit and public sectors focusing on at-risk youth and human rights.
Andrea holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Asian American Studies (magna cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania, a law degree with honors from Duke University School of Law, and a Master of Business Administration with concentrations in marketing and strategic management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
