Vicky is the NBC News Chief Consumer Investigative correspondent and co-anchor of NBC News Daily. Her New York Times best-selling memoir “Boat Baby” shares her journey from being a Vietnamese refugee to network journalist. She reports for the TODAY Show, Nightly News with Tom Llamas and NBC News Now where her stories help people live better, smarter, healthier and wealthier lives. Vicky is the recipient of multiple EMMY, Gracie and Murrow awards as well as the Columbia duPont and Loeb for her consumer and investigative reporting. She frequently works with organizations including Gold House, The Asian American Foundation and the Asian American Journalists Association to spotlight and amplify AAPI creators, leaders, and innovators making a positive difference in the world. She graduated as valedictorian from the University of San Francisco. Vicky lives in New York with her husband and three daughters.
