As President & COO, Vedika is responsible for the oversight of Water.org’s global organization, ensuring its overall effectiveness and comprehensive achievement of strategic, financial, and annual operating goals. Joining Water.org in 2016, Vedika has held multiple roles across geographies, shaping her global perspective and preparing her for her current position. In her role as President & COO, Vedika partners with the CEO, works closely with Water.org’s executive leadership, the Presidents of WaterEquity and WaterConnect, members of the Board of Directors as well as a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to support the mission and vision of Water.org. She previously served as Water.org’s Chief Operating Officer, Chief Global Impact Officer, and Managing Director of India.

Vedika brings more than 35 years of professional experience, including 25 years in investment banking and experience building teams and businesses within Indian and international financial institutions. Previously, she served as the Managing Director and Head of Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan.  Today, under Vedika’s leadership, Water.org continues to scale its impact—having reached more than 73 million people with access to safe water or sanitation solutions.

Vedika serves as an Independent Director on the boards of several companies. She also serves as a Jai Vakeel Foundation board member, an institution focused on children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
