Sarah Burke joined Them in October, 2021. Throughout her career, she has worked in numerous formats to tell stories that interrogate the intersectional ways identity shapes our world and amplify otherwise overlooked perspectives. Formerly, as Special Projects Editor at VICE, she helmed projects such as The Gender Spectrum Collection, an award-winning stock photo library featuring trans and nonbinary models, Queerly Beloved, an Ellie-nominated podcast telling remarkable stories of chosen family and Transnational, a GLAAD-acclaimed docuseries about transgender rights around the world. She is a queer, mixed Pilipinx and was born and raised on O’ahu. Today, she lives in Bed-Stuy.
