​Rahul Purini is the President of Crunchyroll, the world’s leading anime streaming platform, where he oversees global strategy and operations. Since assuming the role in May 2022, he has been instrumental in expanding Crunchyroll’s subscriber base to over 14 million worldwide. Under his leadership, the company has secured major theatrical releases, including Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO and Makoto Shinkai’s Suzume, which garnered a Golden Globe nomination. Purini has also championed the expansion of anime accessibility by launching dubs in five new languages and acquiring the eCommerce retailer Right Stuf. With over 25 years of experience in digital innovation, his prior roles include executive positions at Funimation, Razorfish, and MEplusYOU.
