She is the host of “On the Job,” the hit series from The New York Times on the unseen labor of the food industry. Her stories have been included in the 2019 and 2021 editions of “The Best American Food Writing,” she has been nominated for a James Beard and IACP award and in 2021, she was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. She has appeared on multiple television shows including Ugly Delicious and Masterchef. She is originally from Dallas, Texas.
