Paul is the Co-Founder and CTO of Avant. Avant is a fintech company based in Chicago. Avant is a credit first neobank with over 1.4 million customers and provides credit cards, personal loans, and bank accounts to the middle-class American.

Previously, Paul was in the YCombinator batch of summer 2011. Paul is also a member of the Board of Visitors for the Grainger School of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Paul was a 2009 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in Bioengineering.
