Hailed by The New York Times as “a songwriter of rather astonishing purity,” Olivia Rodrigo took up piano at age seven and began crafting her own lyrics at 12. In 2023, Olivia released “Can’t Catch Me Now” from The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (Music From & Inspired By). “Can’t Catch Me Now” marks Rodrigo’s first contribution to a film soundtrack. “Can’t Catch Me Now,” which won 2023 Hollywood Music In Media Award for SciFi/Fantasty Film, was shortlisted for 2024 Oscars and nominated for a SCL Award for “Outstanding Original Song For A Dramatic Or Documentary Visual Media Production.”
