Under her leadership, Tetris has evolved from a beloved video game into a cross-generational platform spanning gaming, film, fashion, and consumer products through more than 100 international partnerships. She has overseen the launch of acclaimed titles including Tetris Effect: Connected and Tetris 99, and served as an executive producer on the Apple TV+ feature film Tetris, helping position the brand at the center of digital culture.

Beyond Tetris, she co-founded Blue Startups, an early-stage tech accelerator based in Hawaiʻi that has supported more than 157 companies across gaming, sustainability, travel, and diverse founding teams, with a strong emphasis on backing women founders. As a women-led organization, Blue Startups is committed to leveling the playing field in technology, with a goal of supporting 50% female-founded companies.
Maya serves as Chair of the American Red Cross Pacific Islands Region and sits on the boards of Kapiʻolani Medical Center for Women and Children and Cushing Academy. Across her work, she is shaping how global brands evolve and who gets to build what comes next.
