Lola Tung

Actor

Lola Tung is an American actor and singer who rose to global stardom as Isabel “Belly” Conklin in the hit series The Summer I Turned Pretty. Born in New York City and an alumna of the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, Tung was famously discovered while a freshman at Carnegie Mellon University. Her portrayal of Belly across three seasons (2022–2025) turned her into a definitive Gen Z icon, leading to high-profile partnerships with brands like Coach and American Eagle.

Tung has successfully transitioned from teen drama lead to a versatile performer across film and theater. In 2024, she made her Broadway debut to critical acclaim as Eurydice in the Tony-winning musical Hadestown, a role that earned her an iHeartRadio Music Award nomination for Favorite Broadway Debut. Most recently, she pivoted into the horror genre with a starring role in the 2026 supernatural comedy “Forbidden Fruits.” The film, which premiered at SXSW in March 2026 and released nationwide shortly after, features Tung as Pumpkin, a member of a secret witch cult operating out of a suburban mall.
