Byung Hun Lee is an award-winning actor who has solidified his position as one of Asia’s biggest stars. Up next, he will reprise his role as “Front Man” in the highly anticipated final season of the Netflix global phenomenon Squid Game, which will premiere on June 27, 2025. He also recently wrapped production on NO OTHER CHOICE, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Park Chan Wook. His performance in the political crime-action film INSIDE MAN won him a total of fourteen awards including the Best Actor Prize in three prestigious awards: Baeksang Art Awards, Blue Dragon Awards, and Grand Bell Awards, a feat which has yet to be repeated. Recognized for his achievements in Asia and abroad, Byung Hun was the first Korean actor to be given the Asian Film Excellence Award at the 15th Asian Film Awards, and remains the only actor to sell out the Tokyo Dome with 45,000 screaming fans. He was the first South Korean actor to present an Oscar at the annual Academy Awards and was the first South Korean actor to imprint his hand and foot in the forecourt of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

Lee Jung-Jae, who debuted back in 1993 with a local drama in South Korea, continues to thrive not only in Korea but also globally as an actor, director, and a producer. After solidifying his position as an actor in Korea as a household name, he leads the Korean film industry starring in films like THE THIEVES, ASSASSINATION, and ALONG WITH THE GODS series. With various projects, he showcases his power as an actor with box office hits. He continues to expand his boundless spectrum as an actor by taking part in projects that tackle new subjects, genres through innovative characters. Lee’s career skyrocketed with Squid Game, released back in 2021, where he played the protagonist, “Sung Ki-Hoon”, one of the most complicated yet realistic characters, who manages to stick to his moral values, despite struggling with hardships at the very bottom of the social ladder. After the release of Squid Game Lee became the first Asian star to win the Emmy award for best male actor in a drama, cementing his name on the global stage. HWANG DONG-HYUK
Hwang Dong-hyuk is a South Korean film director, screenwriter, and producer best known for creating the global phenomenon Squid Game. Drawing from his personal experiences and observations of economic disparities, Hwang crafted a narrative that resonated deeply with viewers, leading Squid Game to become Netflix’s most-watched series upon its 2021 release. Building on this success, Hwang returned with Squid Game Season 2, which premiered on December 26, 2024. This season delved deeper into the game’s dark complexities, introducing new characters and challenges while continuing the story of Sung Ki-Hoon’s quest to dismantle the deadly competition. The saga is set to conclude with Season 3, premiering on June 27, 2025.
