Before LegalEase, he co-founded AfriBlocks, a freelance marketplace connecting African talent with global opportunities. A Techstars alum, he has built and scaled startups across multiple industries. Roger’s passion for access to justice stems from his work in economic mobility and his commitment to creating tools that empower underserved communities.

Lawrence Blackmon
Lawrence is a practicing attorney and a Mississippi State Representative, dedicated to criminal justice reform. His firsthand experience navigating the expungement process before law school inspired him to co-found LegalEase. Having provided expungement services through his legal practice, he understands the barriers people face and is leveraging AI to make record-clearing accessible at scale.
