Kani Kusruti is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her versatile performances in independent and regional cinema. She has earned critical recognition for her work in the film Biriyaani (2019) which won her the Best Actress awards at the the Moscow International Film Festival and the Kerala State Film Awards. Most recently she starred in Shuchi Talati’s coming-of-age film, Girls Will Be Girls (2024) alongside Preeti Panigrahi and Kesav Binoy Kiron.
