Jordan Mailata is an Australian-born offensive tackle for the Philadelphia Eagles, renowned for his extraordinary transition from rugby league to the NFL. Born on March 31, 1997, in Bankstown, New South Wales, Mailata played rugby for the South Sydney Rabbitohs’ under-20 team before being discovered through the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program. Despite having no prior American football experience, he was drafted by the Eagles in the seventh round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
