Jason Momoa is an American actor and filmmaker. He made his acting debut as Jason Loane on the action drama series Baywatch: Hawaii, which was followed by portrayals of Ronon Dex on the Syfy science fiction series Stargate Atlantis, Khal Drogo in the first two seasons of the HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. He was featured as the lead of the Discovery Channel’s historical drama series Frontier, and Apple TV+’s science fiction series See.

Since 2016, Momoa portrays Arthur Curry / Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe, headlining the eponymous 2018 film and its 2023 sequel. He also has a production company, Pride of Gypsies, in which he has directed a couple of short films and his feature film debut, Road to Paloma.
