Jairaj Sethi is co-founder and CTO of Substack, a new media app that connects you with the creators, ideas, and communities you care about most. Founded in 2017, Substack is building a new economic engine for culture by putting publishers in charge and enabling subscribers to support the work they deeply value.

Before Substack, Jairaj was the Head of Platform and Principle Developer of the mobile messenger app, Kik. He has founded startups in education and mental health.

Jairaj graduated from the University of Waterloo and is based in Toronto.
