Appointed in January 2022 alongside Justin Eshak, Majid brings over two decades of experience in artist development and A&R. Prior to this role, he served as Co-Head of A&R at Columbia Records, where he was instrumental in the careers of artists like Lil Tjay, Russ, and Rachel Platten. Majid’s journey into the music industry began with an internship at Universal Music Group, secured during his time at Rutgers University—a pivotal experience he describes as his “gateway into the music business” .
