Eric Chan is the Chief Business and Strategy Officer for Gap Inc., leading the company’s Strategy, Corporate Planning, Partnership, International Geographies, Card and Loyalty, and Real Estate teams.
Prior to joining Gap Inc., Eric served as CFO for the LA Clippers and Kia Forum, where he led the organization’s administrative operations, long-range planning and project management for the creation of Intuit Dome. Previously, Eric served as COO for The Bouqs Company and, prior to that, CFO for Loot Crate, where he helped scale the company from an early stage startup to $165 million in revenue. During that time, the company was named the Fastest Growing Company in the Unites States by Inc Magazine. Before that, he served as in senior leadership roles at Mattel and Cisco Systems.
In 2016 and 2020, Eric won the LA Business Journal’s CFO of the Year Award. In 2020, Gold House named him to its A100 List. Eric also recently accepted to be part of the Committee of 100 organization, focusing on Chinese American advancement.
He earned his MBA from Harvard Business School and his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
