Christina Chaey is an associate editor at Bon Appétit, where she edits feature stories as well as the Home section of the print magazine.
She is also a recipe developer, a host of the brand’s popular “From the Test Kitchen” YouTube series, a regular guest on the Bon Appétit Foodcast, and a contributing writer for Bonappetit.com, Basically, and Healthyish.
Chaey joined Bon Appétit in 2014 as an assistant web editor producing and writing stories for Bonappetit.com. Her deepening passion for cooking eventually led her to purchase a pair of Dansko clogs and step into the kitchen at Untitled at the Whitney Museum of American Art, where she trained as a line cook under then-executive chef Suzanne Cupps. With a newly honed set of kitchen skills under her belt, she rejoined Bon Appétit in 2017 as associate editor.
Chaey was previously an editor at Fast Company magazine. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. When she’s not eating or cooking, you can probably find her on her road bike. She lives in Brooklyn.
