Chris Suh is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Visa, the global leader in digital payments. With over three decades of experience in the technology and finance sectors, Chris has demonstrated a strong track record of financial and organizational leadership, strategic planning and operational excellence, contributing significantly to the growth and transformation of the companies he has served.
Chris joined Visa from Electronic Arts, where he was EVP and CFO of the largest independent video game publisher, best known for their iconic EA Sports franchises.
Prior to EA, Chris had an extensive 20+ year tenure at Microsoft, where he held numerous leadership positions. Notably, Chris was the Corporate Vice President and CFO of the Cloud + AI group during a remarkable period of industry hypergrowth. Chris also previously was Head of Investor Relations, managing shareholders and analysts as Microsoft reinvented itself as a cloud first company.
Throughout his career, Chris has consistently been a champion for the recognition and success of AAPI communities. While AAPI representation overall in US companies has grown substantially, it is not yet the case in the c-suite. Chris recognizes how much representation matters, and the importance that role-models can play for the next-generation of AAPI leaders. As such, Chris has been mentor, coach or sponsor to hundreds of emerging AAPI leaders in each of the companies he has worked for.
Chris and his wife, Young, now split times between San Francisco and Bellevue, Washington, and are parents to two sons, who now reside in SF and Washington DC.
