Carla Serrano and Susie Nam lead Publicis Groupe, the world’s second-largest communications group, constantly looking at ways to reinvent old systems and structures to outperform the market and partner in clients’ business transformation. This encompasses everything from delivering on Groupe’s unique Power of One model to help brands find growth through connectivity and integration, leading Le Truc as a creative center of excellence that fuels the organization’s creative offering, and harnessing the power of artificial intelligence.

As Global Chief Strategy Officer, Publicis Groupe and CEO, Publicis NY, Carla also led the launch of Working with Cancer, a multi-company initiative that is removing the stigma of cancer from the workplace, and she drives key initiatives, including Marcel, a global AI connectivity platform which enables a stronger sense of community and supports employees’ development journeys.

As CEO of Publicis Creative U.S., Susie oversees Publicis’ renowned agency brands, including Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi, Fallon, BBH, Team One, The Community, and Turner Duckworth. She is known for her ability to design agency systems and cultures that yield breakthrough ideas and best-in-class talent.

Both Carla and Susie share a passion for advancing the DE&I agenda and mentoring the next generation. Carla sits on the Publicis Groupe Diversity Progress Council and is a mentor in both the 4A’s Vanguard Program and Adweek’s Executive Mentor Program. Susie has consistently served as an executive leader, champion, and advocate for DE&I across communities, and has been honored with the Impact Award by the Asian American Federation (AAF) and named Chair of the ADCOLOR Board, the premier organization celebrating and promoting professionals of color in the creative industries.
