A Disney veteran of more than 20 years, Asad has spent his career turning beloved stories into global phenomena, most recently serving as Disney’s first Chief Brand Officer and President of Marketing for Disney Entertainment. In those roles, he spearheaded campaigns for some of the most iconic titles in entertainment history — including Moana, Frozen, and Black Panther, as well as franchise favorites across Avatar, Star Wars, Toy Story, and Avengers — a body of work that spans 28 films surpassing $1 billion at the global box office and 13 of the top 15 box office openings of all time.

His forward-thinking approach has extended to the streaming era, where he has led Emmy-nominated marketing campaigns for Disney+ that have shaped how audiences discover and connect with stories. Beyond film and streaming, he has helmed some of the company’s most significant brand moments — from Disney’s 100th anniversary celebration and the international expansion of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, to the Disneyland Resort’s 70th anniversary.
