Aria Young 沁悦 is an award-winning multimedia journalist and producer based in New York City. Born and raised in Shanghai, she tells stories about culture, identity, and belonging. She is currently an audio producer at Dateline NBC, where she produces the top-ranked podcasts Dateline: True Crime Weekly and Talking Dateline. Previously, she worked at ABC News’ Nightline, producing interviews with cultural figures including Morgan Freeman, Jennifer Lawrence, Simu Liu, and Robert De Niro.

Her reporting and production have also appeared on NPR, Feet in 2 Worlds, Inkstick Media, PRX, Audio Flux, NBC Nightly News, and other outlets. Her work has been recognized by the Asian American Journalists Association, the Deadline Club, NPR, and the United Nations Foundation. Known as Mei Mei to her family, she is proud to be the daughter of Hui 慧 and the granddaughter of Lan Fang 兰芳, whose love and resilience continue to shape her work.
