Anjney Midha is the Vice President, Platform Ecosystems of Discord, a voice, video, and text service used by over 150 million people every month on a mission to create space for everyone to find togetherness.
Anjney joined Discord via the acquisition of his company Ubiquity6, a pioneering multiplayer technology company backed by $50M+ from leading investors including Benchmark, Index Ventures and First Round Capital. As the co-founder and former CEO of Ubiquity6, he led the company from founding to serving millions of users globally, and finally to its acquisition by Discord in 2021.
Prior to Ubiquity6, Anjney was a partner at Kleiner Perkins, the American venture capital firm with over $3 billion in assets under management and private investments in Google, Amazon, Uber, Snap and Epic Games. At Kleiner, he led the formation of the firm’s first dedicated seed fund, and invested in companies across the venture and growth stages.
Originally from India and Singapore, Anjney pursued his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Stanford University, and now lives in San Francisco. He is a Forbes 30 Under 30 and Google Fellows alum. In his free time, Anjney is an active angel investor and loves helping other company builders.
