Aileen is the founder and Managing Partner of Cowboy Ventures, a seed-stage focused fund that backs technology entrepreneurs re-imagining life and work,. Prior to founding Cowboy, she joined Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers in 1999 and has worked with a diversity of consumer and enterprise-oriented companies including Bloom Energy, One Kings Lane, Rent the Runway, Tellme and Trendyol. During this time she was also founding CEO of digital media company RMG Networks. Before joining KPCB, Aileen worked at Gap Inc. in various operating roles; she began her career at Morgan Stanley in technology mergers & acquisitions. Aileen degrees from MIT and Harvard Business School, is the happy mom of 3 and wife to a startup founder, and is a proud Henry Crown Fellow of the Aspen Institute and co-founding member of All Raise.
