Aditi Mayer is a journalist, photographer, and public speaker exploring the intersections of social and environmental justice. Her work examines inequities in global supply chains—particularly in fashion—while amplifying narratives of resilience, heritage, and cultural preservation. She is the founder of The Artisan Archive, a storytelling platform and social impact agency weaving narratives of craft, climate, and culture.

Mayer’s advocacy began in 2014, organizing within Los Angeles’ garment industry after the 2013 Rana Plaza collapse exposed fashion’s deep labor injustices. In 2020, she was awarded the National Geographic Fulbright Digital Storytelling Fellowship, researching India’s farming and artisan textile industries through a socio-environmental lens. She has collaborated with institutions like the United Nations and Fashion Revolution to advance conversations on equitable sustainability. Mayer also serves on the boards of the Garment Worker Center and Kering’s Governance for Tomorrow, cementing her role in systemic change.
