AARON YANG
Aaron graduated from Cornell University in 2014 with a B.S. in Hotel Administration with the goal of being a good steward to the Din Tai Fung brand that his grandfather founded. After graduation, Aaron assisted in all aspects of restaurant operations. Aaron then went on to start building out the corporate office and later moved into an executive role with a focus on Development and IT. In 2024 Aaron and Albert were named Co-CEOs of Din Tai Fung North America. Proudest professional accomplishments include helping to identify and implement software and equipment that allowed the company to scale efficiently, guiding the restaurant development strategy, and helping to build out the executive team. Aaron enjoys playing golf, staying active, and watching a good movie or show.
ALBERT YANG
Albert graduated from Cornell University in 2015 with a B.S. in Hotel Administration. After graduation, Albert went immediately into the family business where he operated as restaurant manager at South Coast Plaza and Santa Anita, while helping with new store openings including Del Amo and Century City. Albert then went on to lead the culinary team starting in 2018, then started working in an executive role in 2020. Proudest professional accomplishments include opening the first east coast location in New York City and achieving a 4.4+ average star rating on Yelp for all restaurants in 2024. Albert’s personal passions include attending sporting events and concerts, staying fit, building relationships, and personal growth.
