Alifya Ali is a Pakistani American producer from Houston, Texas, and now based in Brooklyn, New York. They are an award-winning commercial producer, and their narrative work includes the short film “When You Left Me On That Boulevard,” which won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival and “An Ongoing List of Things Found in the Library Bookdrop, Usually Being Used as Bookmarks” which premiered at SXSW in 2025 and won the Jury Prize for Short Short at the 2025 Aspen Shortsfest. They are a 2023 Sundance Institute Producers Intensive Fellow and a 2025 Tasveer producer lab fellow.

Atif Malik began his career while still in college, working as an assistant on various music videos and commercials for brands like Pepsi, Atlantic Records, Warner Records and Puma. Atif’s feature film credits include Punching Henry (2017), which premiered at SXSW and was acquired by Showtime Networks; and The Last Stop in Yuma County (2024), which premiered to critical acclaim, quickly entered the U.S. top ten, and was hailed as one of 2024’s best films. Atif is an active member of the Producers Guild of America (PGA) and is particularly drawn to the creative process of crafting stories with social significance, as well as working towards meaningful representation.

Based in LA and holds an MFA in producing at the AFI Conservatory, Guo Guo’s producing credits include SMOKING TIGERS (2023), Winner of best performance and best screenplay at Tribeca Film Festival, 2022 AT&T Untold Stories Winner; BRAINWASHED: SEX-CAMERA-POWER (2022), Sundance and Berlinale official selection feature documentary; SXSW and UN COP27 premiered feature documentary FOOD2050 that was shot in 8 different countries; AYKA (2018), Palme d’Or nominee and winner of best actress at Cannes Film Festival; 12 CITIZENS (2015), best picture at the Rome International Film Festival; MEIDUO (2018), a Shanghai International Film Festival Media Award nominee; Amazon Prime’s SOFT SOUNDS OF PEELING FRUIT that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival; HBO Max’s MASS AVE, winner of DGA Student Film Awards; as well as 44-episode Chinese TV Series BE WITH YOU that has enjoyed over 1 billion views; Guo Guo is able to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin.

Justin Hung Nguyen is a Bay Area born filmmaker and producer based in Los Angeles. A graduate of the prestigious USC Peter Stark Producing Program and NYU Tisch School of the Arts (Double major in Film & Psychology), Justin has created work spanning both coasts. His producing credits include STEM, a Sloan Foundation–backed short film starring acclaimed Korean actor Yoon Je-Moon and supported by NextShark; and the USC Stark Special grant recipient DIRTY FUZZ, a raunchy, 70s cop inspired short film shot entirely with puppets. He is also a producer of TOO SOON, a music-inspired romantic-comedy feature film shot in Provo, Utah. Justin is currently a Development Coordinator at Look at the Moon Pictures, Lissette Feliciano’s production banner, where he contributes to both independent and studio projects spanning film, television, commercials, and documentaries. He is a proud co-founder of EDscapade Games, a highly rated escape room company in San Jose.

Liz Lian is a producer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles with a decade of experience in branded content and a track record of award-winning short films. Born and raised in New Jersey, Liz graduated from Princeton University with a degree in anthropology. She worked for several years in the world of New York City digital media, writing and directing celebrity videos for Condé Nast and producing branded content campaigns at Vox Media. After falling in love with visual storytelling and collaborating on set, Liz earned her MFA in Film and Television Production at USC. She has produced and directed several short films that won the DGA Student Film Award, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science Grant, and Panavision New Filmmaker Grant, and screened at festivals like HollyShorts, Fantasia Fest, Austin Film Festival, and more. She was a 2023 Sundance Producing Fellow with the horror feature SKIN.

Megha Kohli is a producer and storyteller with over a decade of experience developing award-winning narrative content for film and television. Her work spans talent-led production companies, including Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine, and independent projects. Most recently, she worked for Oscar-winning actor and producer Riz Ahmed’s Left Handed Films under an overall deal with Amazon Prime Video. As an independent producer, she has also brought several passion projects to life, including a proof-of-concept short film that is currently in post production.
