Bridgerton is an American streaming television period drama Netflix series. It is based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in the competitive world of Regency-era London during the season when debutantes are presented at court.

Bridgerton’s Season 2 is the most-watched English-language television series on Netflix with 656.16 million hours viewed since its March 25, 2022 launch. With generally positive reviews, it debuted number one in 92 countries on the platform. Nielsen Media Research reported a total of 2.55 billion minutes viewed on United States television screens in the first three days of Season 2’s availability which doubled all other shows across streamers for that week. In April 2021, it was confirmed that the series had been renewed for a third and fourth season.
