Kevin Nishimura is currently the Chief Business Officer of Kakao Entertainment Global, overseeing global operations for the largest entertainment company in Korea. As a founding member of Far East Movement – the first Asian American artists to reach #1 on the Billboard charts for three consecutive weeks, with multiple Top 10 records worldwide, Kevin has dedicated over 20 years to championing the AAPI community in entertainment and the global music industry.
Kevin’s community outreach extends through his role as co-chairman of the Pacific Bridge Arts Foundation, where he helps provide AAPI students with opportunities to pursue careers in the arts through music scholarships and mentorship programs with senior industry professionals and award-winning artists.
He also serves as a board member and co-founder of Gold House and was elected to the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs) Los Angeles Chapter Board as a Governor for a four-year term. Through his board service, he continues to push for representation and support for AAPIs in music and entertainment, bridging organizations such as the Recording Academy, Pacific Bridge Arts, and Gold House. His efforts include facilitating GRAMMY U AAPI Pacific Bridge scholarships, the Gold House GRAMMY AAPI membership panel, and the formation of the Gold Music Alliance within the Recording Academy.
