Iana Murray is a Scottish-Filipina freelance writer based in London, covering culture and the occasional sport. She began in criticism, reviewing films for outlets including Empire and Little White Lies before transitioning to profile and feature writing. Formerly an entertainment blogger for GQ, she has since written cover stories for British GQ, Dazed, Another Man, Glamour, and Crack Magazine. Her profiles of actors, musicians, and athletes have also been featured in The Cut, i-D, W Magazine, and Highsnobiety. In 2020, she was named PPA Scotland’s Young Journalist of the Year.
