Liz Lian

Liz Lian is a producer and filmmaker based in Los Angeles with a decade of experience in branded content and a track record of award-winning short films. Born and raised in New Jersey, Liz graduated from Princeton University with a degree in anthropology. She worked for several years in the world of New York City digital media, writing and directing celebrity videos for Condé Nast and producing branded content campaigns at Vox Media. After falling in love with visual storytelling and collaborating on set, Liz earned her MFA in Film and Television Production at USC. She has produced and directed several short films that won the DGA Student Film Award, Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Science Grant, and Panavision New Filmmaker Grant, and screened at festivals like HollyShorts, Fantasia Fest, Austin Film Festival, and more. She was a 2023 Sundance Producing Fellow with the horror feature SKIN.
